PolyTake has no cloud account and does not send your personal data or recordings to a PolyTake server.

Camera and microphone are used only when you record video and sound for an event.

For nearby events, PolyTake uses the local network so iPhones can find each other. Your chosen profile name, or your device name if you have not chosen one, is visible to nearby participants while discovering and joining an event.

Recorded clips remain on participants' devices until they are transferred directly over the local network to the event host. The host receives and stores those clips locally to create the shared movie.

You can optionally save a finished movie to your Photos library. You can delete movies inside PolyTake or remove the app and its locally stored data through iOS.

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. PolyTake does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking.
